We adhere to all international protocols of dialysis, inflectional control, water quality, record maintenance and reprocessing of the dialyzers.  Twenty beds are fitted with the latest healthcare monitoring machines.

State of the art dialysis machines, Fresenius 4008S, ensure that your sessions are safe and well delivered. These machines have automated controls that save your personal information and vitals for future use.

At Vivekanand Arogya Kendra the water quality used for the sessions is of highest degree. The waters used is purified from a double membrane RO system ensuring international standards of dialysis procedures.

Using dedicated ambulance designed for kidney patients and fitted with equipment likes Oxygen cylinder, defibrillators, cardiac monitor, we have arrangements with Aryan hospital, Gurgaon, to shift patient if needed.

List of our services are given below:

1. Haemodialysis – it is a procedure wherein a highly advanced machine is used to filter out excess salts, wastes and fluids from patients’ blood once their kidneys stop performing their task adequately
2. Sustained low efficiency dialysis (SLED) – It is used as a renal replacement modality in critically ill patients with acute kidney injury (AKI) and hemodynamic instability.
3. Online hemodiafiltration (HDF) – It is a renal replacement therapy which is used in the intensive care setting. In online HDF Ultrapure dialysate is used as substitution fluid which allows exchange of large amount of fluids during the treatment hence achieving a dialysis which resembles the natural function of the kidney more closely.

It is usually used to treat acute kidney injury (AKI), but may be of benefit in multiple organ dysfunction syndrome or sepsis

• Kidney Diet Counselling – Kidney Failure patients face dilemma when it comes to dietary restrictions as they need to follow a very strict diet which leaves them with limited options. Our Dieticians help patients understand why dietary restrictions are needed, what they can eat and how they can manage their food intake as per their individual requirements.

Dr Mahapatra is a nephrologist with 15+ experience.  He has graduated from SCB Medical College, Cuttack.  He is a member of the Indian Society of Nephrology and Peritoneal Dialysis Society of India.

He has won the Best Oral Presentation for factors predicting mortality in diabetic PD patients in PDSICON in Kerala.

Received First Prize in the National Neurology Conference.

He was awarded the Gold Medal twice during his MBBS.
